About Us

BmiNutri is a free place to check your BMI, look up nutrition facts, and read plain-language guides on protein, carbs, and fat.

What this site is for

The numbers on a food label and the number from a BMI calculator are easy to misread on their own. This site puts those tools next to short explanations so you can see what a result means before you change how you eat.

You can use the calculator, browse foods by category, and read articles without creating an account. An account is only needed if you want to request a meal plan.

BMI calculator

The calculator estimates body mass index from height and weight, in metric or US units. It shows the usual adult categories and a few related figures, such as a healthy weight range for the height you entered. The calculation happens in your browser. We do not store each result unless you later send that information yourself in a meal-plan request.

Nutrition facts

The nutrition guide lists common foods with calories and macronutrients, usually for a typical serving or for 100 grams. Categories include fruits, vegetables, dairy, eggs, meat, and seafood. Use the pages to compare foods, not as a medical nutrition prescription.

Macro guides

Articles explain how protein, carbohydrates, and fat fit into a day of eating, including calorie density and micronutrients. They are written for everyday planning. They are not a personal diet.

What this site is not

Nothing here is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment plan. BMI does not measure body fat directly, and it is a poor guide for children, pregnancy, and some athletes. Talk with a qualified clinician before you change your diet, exercise, or medication because of something you read here.
