Agreement
By opening bminutri.com, creating an account, or sending a meal-plan request, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you use the site for an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization.
We may refuse service, close an account, or remove a request that breaks these terms. You may stop using the site at any time.
The service
BmiNutri provides:
- A browser-based BMI calculator for adults, plus general notes on how BMI is calculated and where it falls short.
- Nutrition facts for common foods, organized by category, with calories and macronutrients for a stated amount.
- Articles on macros, calorie density, vitamins, and everyday meal planning.
- Optional accounts, and a form where a signed-in visitor can request a meal plan.
Features can change, pause, or be removed. Nutrition figures are edited over time as we correct sources. A page you read last month may not match the page today.
Not medical advice
The calculator, food tables, articles, and any meal-plan material are general information. They are not medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment, or a personal prescription. They are not a substitute for a physician, registered dietitian, or other qualified clinician.
BMI is a screening figure from height and weight. It does not measure body fat, fitness, or illness. It is not designed for children, pregnancy, or many athletes. Nutrition values vary by brand, cut, ripeness, and cooking method. Do not ignore professional advice, and do not delay care, because of something on this site.
If you have a medical condition, an eating disorder, or you are pregnant, ask your clinician before you follow a calorie target, a macro split, or a meal pattern described here.
Meal-plan requests
A meal-plan request is a message you send us. It is not a promise that a clinician will treat you, and it is not an emergency service. Do not use it to report a medical emergency. Call your local emergency number instead.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the age, body measurements, diet notes, and photos you submit. We may decline a request that is incomplete, that asks for medical treatment, or that we cannot answer responsibly with general guidance. A reply, if we send one, is still general information under these terms.
Accounts
If you create an account, you must use a real email address you control and a password you do not reuse from another site. You are responsible for activity under that account until you tell us it is compromised. Tell us promptly at hello@bminutri.com if someone else is using it.
We may suspend an account that is used to abuse the site, to scrape it, or to send requests we did not ask for.
Acceptable use
You may read the site and use the calculator for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not:
- Copy the nutrition tables, articles, or meal-plan material to republish them as your own, or to build a competing database.
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the site except as allowed by robots.txt for ordinary search indexing.
- Break into an account, probe the site for vulnerabilities without permission, or send malware.
- Impersonate another person, or submit a meal-plan request about someone else without their permission.
- Use the site to harass, to post unlawful content, or to upload images you do not have the right to share.
- Interfere with the service, overload it, or bypass access controls.
- Remove copyright or attribution notices.
A limited quotation, with a link back to the page, is fine for commentary or citation. Asking us first is the right path for any wider reuse.
Your content
You keep ownership of the text and images you submit in a meal-plan request or an email. You give us permission to store, copy, and use that material for the purpose of reading the request, preparing a reply, and keeping a record. You confirm that you have the rights needed to give us that material, including any photo of a person.
We may remove material that breaks these terms or the law.
Our content
The site design, articles, food descriptions, compilation of nutrition facts, and the BMI calculator interface are owned by BmiNutri or its licensors. Nutrition numbers may be drawn from public food-composition references and are presented here in our own pages. Those underlying public facts are not owned by us. Our selection, wording, and presentation are.
You receive a limited license to view the site in a browser for personal use. That license ends if you break these terms. It does not include the right to mirror the site or to train a model on a bulk copy of it.
Accuracy
We try to keep nutrition figures and explanations current and sourced. They can still be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Serving sizes on packaged foods override a generic page when the two differ. You should check a label, and a clinician’s instructions, before you rely on a number from this site for a medical diet.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows. We do not warrant that the calculator, a nutrition value, or a meal-plan note is error-free, that the site will be uninterrupted, or that it will meet a health goal.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, BmiNutri and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or personal injury, arising from your use of the site or your inability to use it. This includes decisions you make about food, weight, or exercise after reading a page or a reply.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim. The public site is free, so that amount may be zero. Some places do not allow these limits. In those places, the limits apply only as far as the law allows.
Indemnity
If a third party brings a claim because of material you submitted, or because of the way you used the site, you will cover the reasonable costs and damages that result, to the extent the law allows and to the extent we are not at fault.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the bottom of this page will change when we do. If you keep using the site after that date, the new terms apply. If you do not agree with an update, stop using the site and ask us to delete your account.
