Who we are
BmiNutri is the website at bminutri.com. It offers a BMI calculator, nutrition facts for common foods, articles on macros and everyday eating, and a way for signed-in visitors to request a meal plan. This policy covers that website. It does not cover sites we link to.

Information you give us
Most of the site can be read without an account. We receive information when you choose to send it.
- Account. If you register, we store your name, email address, and a hashed password. We do not store the password in a form we can read.
- Profile updates. If you edit your profile, we store the name and email you submit.
- Meal-plan request. A request can include gender, age, weight, height, activity level, goal, diet type, a written description, an email address, a phone number, and images you upload. That information is tied to your account.
- Email. If you write to hello@bminutri.com, we keep the message long enough to reply and to keep a record of the request.
Please do not send medical records, insurance numbers, or information about someone else unless you are allowed to share it and it is needed for the request.
BMI calculator
The BMI calculator runs in your browser. Height, weight, age, and the result are used to draw the result on the page. We do not receive or store that calculation just because you pressed Calculate. If you later type the same details into a meal-plan request, those details are stored as part of the request, not as a history of calculator sessions.
Information collected automatically
When you load a page, the server receives the usual technical data needed to send the page: IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. Hosting and security logs may keep that data for a limited time to diagnose errors and abuse.
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to see aggregate traffic and performance, such as which pages are visited and how long they take to load. Those tools are meant to report site use, not to build an advertising profile of you.
The site sets cookies that the application needs in order to work:
- A session cookie, so a signed-in visit stays signed in and forms can be protected against cross-site requests.
- A security cookie used to verify form submissions.
You can block cookies in your browser. Pages that only display articles and nutrition facts should still open. Signing in and submitting a meal-plan request may fail if those cookies are blocked.
How we use information
- To run the site, keep you signed in, and show the pages you ask for.
- To read and respond to a meal-plan request, including the body measurements and diet notes you included.
- To reply to email and to privacy requests.
- To fix broken pages, watch for abuse, and understand which guides are used.
- To send a message you asked for. We do not sell your name or email.
We do not use meal-plan details to make automated decisions about credit, insurance, or employment. We do not use them to diagnose you.
Health-related details
Weight, height, age, activity, and diet notes can describe your body and your eating. Treat them as sensitive. We use them only to prepare or discuss the meal-plan request you sent, and to keep a record of that request. Staff or contractors who do not need those details to do that work should not have access to them.
Nutrition pages and articles are general information. Reading them does not tell us your weight or your health conditions.
Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only in these cases:
- Hosting and storage. The site runs on Vercel. Files you upload with a meal-plan request, and the application database, are stored with the infrastructure providers configured for this project. They process that data so the site can function.
- Email. A message you send, or a reply we send, passes through the email service that handles hello@bminutri.com.
- Analytics. Aggregated usage data is processed by Vercel’s analytics tools, as described above.
- Legal requests. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or if it is needed to investigate abuse of the site.
If we later show third-party advertising, the ad provider may set its own cookies and collect usage data under its own policy. We will update this page before that starts. Advertising is not part of the site described here.
How long we keep it
Account details stay until you delete the account or ask us to delete it. Meal-plan requests stay with the account so we can see what was asked and how it was handled. Server logs are kept only as long as the host retains them for security and debugging. Email is kept while the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterward in case you follow up.
If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete the account record and the meal-plan requests tied to it, except where we must keep a copy for a legal claim or a security investigation.
Security
Pages are served over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed. Access to the admin area is limited to authorized accounts. No method of sending or storing data is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been used without permission, email us and change your password.
Children
The site is written for adults. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 16. The BMI pages include general information about children and teens, but that information is for parents and clinicians to read, not an invitation for a child to send us personal details. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Your choices and requests
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct a name, email, or meal-plan detail that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your account and the requests attached to it.
- Object to a use that is not required to run the site.
- Withdraw consent where a use was based on consent.
Email hello@bminutri.com from the address on the account. We may ask you to confirm that you control that address before we change or delete anything. You can also sign out, and you can stop using the site at any time.
Visitors outside your home country
The site is available on the public internet. Hosting and storage may be in a country other than yours, including the United States, where our host operates. If you use the site, your information may be processed in those locations. We apply the practices in this policy wherever the data is stored.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we will update this page and change the date below. If a change materially affects an account you already have, we will also make a reasonable effort to notify you by email. Continuing to use the site after the new date means the updated policy applies to new use.
